2. Civilisation 6

Released: October 21, 2016

Many games seem to lose quality or enjoyment with each new sequel, but that’s not the case with Sid Meier’s Civilisation series. Number 6 is hands down the best one yet.

Its colourful, cartoonish design provides the perfect balance of complexity and depth and fun and excitement. You’ll continue to pave your way through history from the ancient era to the space-age, unstacking cities and growing armies as you go. However, this time there are a whole lot more details and tricks to take note of on the way.

Just when we thought Respawn’s work couldn’t get any better.

Titanfall 2 has been listed as one of the best games of autumn 2016! Its inventive, action-packed and sci-fi enhanced nature helps it override similar games like Halo 5, Half Life 2 and Killzone: Shadow Fall.

Whether you’re unlocking new Pilot abilities, swinging from the walls as Spider-man or disappearing from opponents using the invisibility cloak, there’s never a dull moment in this game.

5. Watch Dogs 2

Released: November 15, 2016

Watch dogs 2 reinvigorates all the things we loved about the first one – the strong mission design, huge variety of locations and the comedic depiction of technology, social media and the hacking community culture.

While it didn’t get the initial sales figures as the original, it has been set to pick up momentum over the Christmas/New Year period.
