1. Pewdiepie

You knew this guy would be first on the list, didn’t you.

Pewdiepie, aka Felix Kjellberg, aka Swedish YouTube sensation, earned his claim to fame six years ago when he began releasing hilarious simulations and gameplay videos.

In September last year, he hit the jackpot when he was dubbed the very first YouTuber to exceed 10 billion video views.  

His Let’s Play series has earned him over 49 million followers, and his more recent YouTube Red series “Scare Pewdiepie” allows subscribers to put themselves inside the games he plays.

2. KSI

Successful rapper, comedian and YouTube gaming personality, KSI, is most commonly known for his FIFA and Grand Theft Auto gameplay commentary. Similar to Pewdie, he’s been posting to the ‘Tube for six years now, collecting over 13 million subscribers along the way.

In 2015, he was ranked the most influential social media personality among teen audiences.

He also produces real-life soccer-related pranks and challenges.

3. Captain Sparklez

Jordan Maron is a young American fellow who goes by the online alias of Captain Sparklez. Most of his videos are Let’s Play videos of games like Call of Duty, Portal and Left 4 Dead 2.

In 2013, he released his hilarious parody video called Minecraft Style, mocking Psy’s hit track Gangnam Style. The video today has reached almost 16 million views. (watch below)

4. SeaNanners

Adam Montoya’s video game commentary will have you in stitches laughing while educating you on the ins and outs of first-person games like Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty. His 5 million subscribers are growing with every video he posts.

His channel sometimes features collaboration videos with Captain Sparklez.

5. Smosh Games

Last but not least, Smosh Games Channel. Featuring a range of different gaming videos (Let’s Play, Honest Game Trailers, Walkthroughs, reviews, reactions, etc.) it has become a hub for gamers of all kinds over the past four years.
